A Brand New Start

So I guess I will start this by introducing myself, I'm Christy. I'm the wife of a wonderful man that I completely adore, and the mom to 3 beautiful children. I grew up in California and lived there for 22 years. My husband joining the army back in 2008 is what got us out of that tiny town and off to bigger and better things. So here's my story guys. Enjoy!

I met my wonderful husband in October 2006. We were crazy in love and ran off and got married after 2 months of dating. I knew after our first date that he was the man I would spend the rest of my life with. I had no doubt's. He was so perfect in my eyes. So in January 2007 we were married. Life was great. We were expecting a baby just a few months later and we couldn't be happier. Then tragedy struck. My grandma passed away in a house fire and my life was turned upside down. Months went by and Victor and I welcomed our baby boy into the world in November 2007. Then tragedy struck yet again and my mom lost her battle with cancer in December 2007. Our baby boy, and her only grandchild was 1 month old. My life now consisted of my baby and my husband. He did his best to keep me going and keep my spirits up. To this day, I'm so thankful I had him because I never would have made it through that rough year if it wasn't for that amazing man and his strength. He showed me that I could have that strength too. He's my guardian angel.

Victor decided to join the Army when working at the Car Dealership wasn't going to well. He wasn't making enough to support our family so it was time for drastic changes. He had always wanted to join the Army so we talked about it and decided to give it a go in October 2008. He left for training for 9 months. We found out we were expecting right before he left. We were shocked but we knew we could make it through anything at that point. I was so excited and totally hoping for a girl. In April 2009, with Victor in Texas for training, we welcomed a baby boy into our family. He was the perfect addition to our growing family. We couldn't have been happier. In June 2008 we flew to Texas where we had been stationed and Victor met his little boy Joshua for the very first time. We were a happy family again.

In July 2009 the Army moved us to Fort Carson Colorado. Quickly after Victor left for a year long deployment in Iraq. Longest year of our lives. I moved home to California and returned in 2011 when he returned home. Shortly after in December 2011 we welcomed our precious baby girl into the world. Baby number 3 and we were DONE! Lol Then in March 2012, with 3 kids by my side we said good bye to daddy again as he left for a 9 month tour to Afghanistan. I moved back home again for the help. In December 2012 he returned home after a long deployment and we were whole again. One big happy family. :)

In January 2014 the Army moved us to Fort Jackson, South Carolina after 5 years in Colorado. We were thrilled to experience a new place. We were ready for a change. Victor worked at the training center there and loved his job. But we couldn't quite make ends meet so we decided to try this eBay business out and work together at home to help cover some of those tough bills. It took off fast. We worked hard and before we knew it, in June 2015, we got out of the Army and moved back to Colorado to do our business full time together. No more deployments, no more missing all those family firsts. We were so happy!

So now Victor and I work side by side in this amazing business and we love our life. I never expected my life to go the way it did but I'm thankful for all I have been through and to still have that wonderful man by my side almost 10 years later. We have had our bumps in the road but we made it through. I'm so excited to see what the future holds for us and I'm so happy I get to live this crazy life with this man by my side everyday. :)
